We’re so excited to announce that speaker applications are open for The Blog Connect. The theme of this year’s conference is Blog It Better.
The audience will be made up of bloggers who have gotten their feet wet and are now looking to make improvements to their blog to increase community, traffic, and engagement.
The speaker topics have not yet been decided yet because we want to hear from you about what you are the experts in and want to share with the group. To understand a little more about where our heads are at, we’ve thought about sessions on collaborations, vendors, photography, consistency, SEO, gaining followers, making an e-book or products, being a mid-sized blogger, how to find your audience, and mastermind groups.
We’re looking for speakers who are engaging, have a great story to share, and can help our bloggers make a difference. Please apply by filling out the form.
Speaker applications are due by Friday, January 13, 2017. Speakers will be notified by February 1, 2017 whether their application has been chosen. If you are selected to speak and have already purchased a ticket for the conference, your ticket will be reimbursed by The Blog Connect team.
All speakers will receive a free ticket to the conference. This includes entry to the party on April 22, 2017 and all activities on April 23, 2017.
- Speaker presentations are a total of 60 minutes long and must include 45-50 minutes of content and 10-15 minutes of Q&A.
- A projector will be made available to you for PowerPoint slides, but it is not necessary to use it.
- If you are selected, a copy of your presentation must be provided to the PHLbloggers team by April 1, 2016.
